Success Stories

My son and I began martial arts training as something to do together, away from the house, that we could combine exercise with fun. I quickly learned that the benefits were much greater. Something that one could utilize everyday in the journey of life. Benefits for my son include routine, discipline, respect, coordination and reaching for the next goal. Personally the same benefits apply along with the togetherness for my son and out new found martial arts family. The extra bonus to the situation has been the high level of quality instruction along with professionalism they provide. It instills both confidence & determination.

Dear WMAA,

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy your program. My daughters started in the spring. They enjoyed it so much that I decided to try it. I didn't realize how much I would enjoy it and benefit from it. We have all gained both physically and mentally from class. The girl's soccer skills especially their kicks have improved. They have more endurance now for all sports. We are all getting stronger and more flexible.

You have wonderful staff who is very helpful, supportive, and keeps us motivated!! I feel confident leaving my children here because I know they are in good hands. They are taught in a positive way. The girls are eager to attend class because they enjoy it so much! It is great to see them in an activity that builds confidence, strength and discipline. My 4 year old may not know that she is learning so such valuable skills bit it shows in her daily life.

This is such a great sport for any age and allows a family to train together. It has been a real pleasure coming to World Martial Arts Academy. The more we learn, the better we get - and the more motivated we are to work harder.

Sincerely,
Denise, Amy, Jenny & Haley

We first started training for some structure and to bond as a family. We have greatly benefited from the positive aspects of the “Tenets Of Tae Kwon Do” and the coordination it takes to participate. We look forward to becoming Black Belts while enjoying the process of getting there. As a female adult I get a sense of being able to handle myself in a self-defense situation if ever needed.

As told to Grandmom…

I like Tae Kwon Do because it makes me feel stronger and louder. I like to punch and kick. I enjoy doing Tae Kwon Do with my Mommy. I would like to continue Tae Kwon Do to earn my Black Belt. I like to learn new things in Tae Kwon Do. Tae Kwon Do makes me feel safe. I am not scared at night.

I started training at WMAA SoCo because a friend invited me. The benefits of my training are strength and conditioning, discipline, a “Yes I Can” attitude, respect and admiration of others, and practical , effective self defense techniques. My training applies to everyday life in that I feel empowered. I also feel like part of a mutually respectful team or family with similar goals. My future goals are to earn a Black Belt and to continue training beyond that. I really enjoy our school. WMAA SoCo ROCKS ! Master EJ Fitch has been fantastic and the help I receive from the Black Belts has been great. Thank You So Much.

Michael
